Windows 10: Windows 10 Restart/Green screen/Out of rage after upgrade from win 7.

Hi, as in the topic after upgrading from win 7 to win 10 i got problems in certain games, while Eu4 and Cod Warzone give me no problem at all warzone once actually other games react far differently...

In Risk of Rain after 30min-1h my PC restart without any info just black screen>restart, while trying to play Frost Punk nearly always after 10-15min i got a restart.

Why i don't think its CPU/GPU/PSU any physical problem, its fairly new pc around 2 years also i cleaned it yesterday, but secondly and that's most important thing while i was playing for around 2 years on Windows 7 till 2 weeks ago none of those problems occurred and everything worked FINE without pc restarts so why now? just after win10 upgraded. or im ultra unlucky and mt pc parts got physical damage at time i upgraded to win10..

Today i checked bios and my CPU/GPU is not overclocked at all.Temperatures are really normal nothing is to low or to high while gaming everything pretty normal, temp rise to around 65-70 while gaming depend on game

Also as far as i checked windows don't give me any crash reports, its just restarting after playing certain games sometimes faster sometimes slower, sometimes never EU4 also while idle checking the internet watching youtube/streams everything is fine.

I really don't know maybe its a driver colliding or other program setting is not right, but it will be really weird if my PC started overheating/lack power etc just after win10 upgrade.

I turned off the option that let automatic restart.

All drivers are updated.

I had some problems with sound drivers also but everything was fine after reinstalling NVIDIA drivers.

I changed power and NVIDIA options to max performance.

Turned off display/sleep timers, changed power management to 95%

Turned off some registry commands 2? that will prevent my comp to restart in case of failure etc.

Malwarbytes is on/im using MSI afterburner/windows update in on.

Turned off all useless starting programs etc


Also i want to say that most of the time im getting just black screen > restart, green screen happened maybe twice same with out of rage.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?

i've seen this when the stock USB drivers went kaput. Only ever seen it once - i used a PCI USB 2.0 card and connected the mouse and keyboard to that, and manually updated the USB 2/USB 3 drivers.
