    Windows 10 restarting while idle


    I recently purchased HP envy laptop 15 and am currently running MS windows 10 home Version 10.0.19042. The laptop has been having issue of automatically restarting whenever idle since the time of purchase Oct 2020. The system is perfectly fine while being operated and the issue only happens when it is idle for more than 10 minutes or so. I have tried various solutions suggested in different MS forums but to no avail. Presently, I have changed power settings to "never" in both battery mode and plugged in mode and am yet to observe the results. However, this does not seem to be the solution since my other HP envy laptop 13" with same build of OS seems to be working fine. Kindly guide on a workable solution.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
