Windows 10: Windows 10 restarts after shutdown

    Windows 10 restarts after shutdown


    My windows 10 keeps restarting itself after I shut it down normally. The only way to get it to shut down is with force shutdown which obviously isn't too good. I've had this issue before like a year ago but I fixed it by disabling fast startup. A few days ago I installed a new SSD drive and it has been doing this ever since.So far I've tried to:do the command "sfc /scannow" and found nothingget a Power Efficiency Diagnostics Report, which reported a few problems but none of them were relevant some usb-devices mainly, I can screenshot the full report if that would help somehowshut the pc do

    Windows 10 pro will not shutdown or restart. Gets stuck

    I tried to shutdown and restart my pc but both times they STUCK! I left it for 15 minutes and still had to force shutdown

    When you say "force shutdown" you mean you hit the power button?

    Try from a CLI:
    shutdown.exe /force
