Windows 10: Windows 10 results in black screen error during rebooting after cumulative updates

I know this is a common problem and I can fix this error. I want to know if there is any way I can install those updates. I couldn't install the last few cumulative updates. I tried yesterday too, only to be welcomed with a black screen again. The only solution to fix that was to enter recovery mode and boot in safe mode. I even uninstalled the display adapter Intel HD Graphics 520 and restarted it. But it didn't help. Even the Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B sequence key does not work.So, is this a problem due to my PC or is it just due to problems related to the latest update that's breaking my OS? W

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240
