    Ok, I own a Windows 10 Pro Retail Key that I used on my pc for the last few years, today I've built a new pc, installed Windows 11 with no key. After installing I went ahead and used slmgr commands to deactivate the windows 10 machine, everything went successfully but when I tried to activate it on the new Windows 11 Machine, the command promt tells me the os has been activated successfully but in setting I see its not activated, and I cant get it to, the windows watermark annoys me a lot. When trying to use the key in setting I get an activation error with a code 0xC004C008. Does anyone know

    Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
