    Hello.

I want to buy a USB box version of Windows 10 Home 64 bit and confused with these numbers I see: KW9-00500, KW9-001...

Different retailers have different manufacturer numbers listed on their products and I can not find any explanation of what does all of these means to me.

Thanks a lot in advance and sorry if I missed something obvious.

    :)

Corsair Releases Flash Voyager Vega USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Corsair, a world leader in high-performance PC hardware, today announced the ultra compact, low-profile Flash Voyager Vega USB 3.0 flash drive. The slim, thumb-sized drive is less than 5mm thin and 24mm long including the built-in key ring loop, making it a perfect keychain companion for data transfers on the go, or an ideal plug-and-leave storage solution for notebooks, car audio systems, game consoles, and other devices. The new drive is available immediately in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities from Corsair.com and retailers around the world.

Protected in a gleaming scratch-resistant hard chrome plated zinc alloy enclosure, the Flash Voyager Vega drive is as eye-catching as it is rugged. The drive also supports USB 2.0 for compatibility with older PCs, and Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux are all supported with no additional software required.

    Windows 10 Retail USB Drive

That is weird, that you can't change the drive letter. Did it come with a printed license key? I would say you have two options:

    1. If it came with a printed license key, just make your own USB with the Windows Media Creation Tool and enter the retail key when asked for it when you install from the USB that you made.

    2. If it did not come with a printed key - install Windows 10 from the purchased USB. Use a product key sniffer (such as produkey or Belarc Advisor) to get the Windows 10 key (which should be a unique one for a retail version). Then go back to step 1, if still desired.

Installing windows off of a USB stick

    Step By Step from vista:
    From admin cmd prompt

    1. diskpart
    1a. list disk
    2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk
