Windows 10: Windows 10 Right Click on Left Click on Certain Pages

On certain integrated pages (namely Device Manager, Task Manager, and the search bar on the top right of control panel) my right click menu appears whenever I left click. It is almost as if my right click is bound to both of my mouse buttons. This is not a problem with my right click being bound to my left (I have already checked). What is strange about this problem is that it is only apparent on many of the integrated Windows pages and also the address bar in Google Chrome; I do not have this problem with Firefox, Internet Explorer, or any other apps or games.


The problem first appeared when I bought a Dell S2417DG Monitor and Logitech G602 Keyboard to hook up to my Alienware 17 R3 Laptop through HDMI cable and USB respectively. I have already updated and reinstalled the drivers on all devices including the ones that I had previously such as my Logitech G502 mouse, troubleshooted all devices, and have attempted just about every solution that I have found. I would appreciate any feed back or help.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Issues with Right and Left Mouse Click

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the issue is resolved:

Step 1:

I would like to suggest that you log into Safe Mode with networking and check if the issue persist, if not try the steps below.

Step2:

I suggest that you update your drivers. Follow the steps below to perform an update.

• Click on the Start button, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar.
• Open Device Manager, expand “Mice and other pointing devices”.
• Find and double-click graphic adapter
  from the left panel to uninstall.
• Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
• Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click
  OK to remove the driver.
• After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
• After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, please go to the computer manufacturer’s website, download the Windows 10 driver for your computer and check.

Step 3: Download drivers for 8.1 and install in compatibility mode. Follow the steps below to do so:

• 
  Right click on the setup file and select Properties.

  Click the compatibility tab, tick the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows.

I suggest you to check if the following steps helps to resolve the issue.

• Right click on the Windows key and Go to control panel.
• On the upper right corner change the view by to small icon.
• Click on mouse.
• Then click on ‘wheel’ tab.
• Set the values for horizontal and vertical scrolling.

and see if it helps to resolve the issue.
