Windows 10: Windows 10 s mode blocking internet

Hi all so im getting frustrated with this bullsh*t update from windows now. Nothing was wrong last night then i load up the pc after updates this morning and im in windows s mode. The internet just will not connect. I can connect fine to my router and phone and a hotspot but no internet. Ive tried running the trouble shooter which suggested resetting network which i did and nothing and it says the firewall is blocking it. The firewall is completely disabled and still nothing. Please please someone get me out of this lol

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I suggest you to try the Windows 8.1 steps in the following Microsoft Help article to block child user from accessing internet and check if it helps. The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10 as well.

Unable to access Internet while in Windows 10 Safe Mode with Networking

To assist you better, please provide few details.

1) Are you able to connect to internet through normal mode?

2) Do you receive any error message, while trying to connect to internet in safe mode?

I would suggest you to try updating your network drivers by booting your system in normal mode and check if it helps.

  Device Manager.

  Right click the Network Adapter drivers.
  
•
