Windows 10: Windows 10 s mode compatible app not working

I just purchased a laptop with windows 10 s mode for the sole purpose of being able to use the Windows desktop application for Descript. I checked before purchasing and saw Descript in what I now realize was the previous version of the MS store. It has a link to get it from the new store, but when it takes me to the new store I have been through all the apps and it's not showing. I have checked with Descript and they said they are still verified with Microsoft as a safe app. I would appreciate any assistance!

• Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps.
• Install the driver using the compatibility mode.

Netgear Genie App compatability with Windows 10

These steps got my Net Gear Genie app up and running. I found 2 executables in the Program Files (v86)/NetGear Genie folder: wpdel and wpinst. I had to set them both to run in compatibility mode for Windows 8. Then the app behaved as it did before I upgraded
to Windows 10.

 

Metro 2033 fails to work on windows 10!

I don't recall you mentioning any trouble shooting steps attempted though. At the very least, doing a quick search and checking threads like this very well may have solved it for you. It's listed as compatible on MS' list of games that work with W10 for a reason, because many if not most are able to get it running on W10. At least some level of workaround may be required, but some got it running without doing anything.
