    Hi,


    Since May 2020 update the probing says there's no internet access when there is in one of my PC's

    This is causing UWP apps. to don't install, update, run or sync because Windows believes there's no internet connectivity...


    Before helping understand:

    -Re-install is not an option we all know it won't fix anything

    -Driver is up to date

    -I have other Win10 May 2020 PC's which don't have this issue

    -I have already done the testing of modifying IP's and URL's the probing uses to validate if there is or not internet.

    -I have already checked none of the IP's or URL's are being blocked by any AV, Router, Adblocker or whatever.

    -I have disabled probing with same results.


    So I'm wondering if anyone knows why and how can I solve this "No Internet Access" when in fact is.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

    A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10. I understand the frustration to wait for something and it is taking a long time.

    I would suggest you to perform an Internet troubleshooter by following the steps below.

    • Click on start and type ‘troubleshooting’ and press enter.
    • Click on ‘View all’ on top left corner.
    • Select ‘Internet Connections’ in the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.


    Also, check if the issue persists by connecting to a different network.
