    Windows 10 Screen Tearing


    So, sometimes my screen tears and I restart my graphics driver (Ctrl+Shift+Win+B). The screens go blank and they reset their display settings and the tearing problem is fixed. But If I see Task Manager, Windows Problem Reporting is using 100% Disk and then I went to the reliability report and found out there is something like Windows Hardware Error LiveKernelEvent and additional information says something about my graphics driver, says something like igfx. Please tell me how to fix screen tearing, and hardware errors. Sometime ago, restarting my graphics driver caused BSOD then I did an In-place upgrade and It was fixed but now this is the new problem.

    Screen Tearing from GPU OC - Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hey all,

    Just upgraded to Windows 10 today. My Windows 7 wasn't even taking Live Updates anymore, so time to call it quits. I ran my 7900 perfectly fine at 1095 / 1395 during my Windows 7 time. Today after I got everything ready to go, I reinstalled the correct driver for Windows 10 and turned up the OC. Even bringing up the clock by 10 MHZ, it would cause terrible screen tears. Tried upping the power control but that didn't make a difference. Temps were fine.

    Looking for help with this. Not sure why it would make such a drastic difference in screen tearing with an OS upgrade.

    Hello,everyone!

    When I am playing Minecraft, there is screen tearing on my laptop.

    My computer is windows 10, but I downupgrade to windows 8.1 now.

    In windows 8.1,isn’t screen tearing. But in window 10, there is screen tearing.

    Is there anyway to fix screen tearing in Windows 10.

    I want to use windows 10 very much, but the problem forces me to use windows 8.1.

    I hope someone can help to solve the problem and make me use windows 10 fluently.

    My computer equipment : ASUS ROG G551JW I7-4720HQ Intel 4600 / GTX 960M 8GB RAM

    Iam having the same issue. Never experienced screen tearing in windows 8.1. This is non sense. Most of my games have screen tearing and YouTube videos are messed up unless I restart my CPU. I really dont know whats the problem. Microsoft needs to fix this
    problem soon. very soon. I love windows 10 but not with screen tearing.
