Windows 10: Windows 10 Search All Subfolders

I have Windows 10 and when searching folders in file explorer my default was always to search all folders and subfolders. Now it defaults to just search the current folder. I can choose subfolders from the ribbon but I desperately want to set all subfolders as the default again. I've searched the web for answers and windows doesn't behave the way that people describe. I choose search options in explorer and there is no option to set this as a default anymore. Anyone have any advice?

OK. You have to:

1. Execute a search via the Search bar so the Search Ribbon appears.
2. On the ribbon, click Current Location.
3. Click the "Go" arrow to the right of the Search bar.
4. On the ribbon, click Current Location again.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
