Windows 10: Windows 10 Search Bar Frozen?

Probably going to get told to fuck off to some other subreddit but i just want a fix for some reason recently my PC's been slower and the Disk space on startup seems to be at 100% even though it shouldn't be doing this anyways a few issues have come from this one being my windows search bar has now frozen and i can't search for apps or anything any help?



I know windows 10 is buggy but like how the fuck is it so trash to what it should be? (Like self identifying issues, helping people understand the issue ect) Like whys everything got to be so hard and complex it puzzles because surly they could of made windows 10 alot more easier???? I know what im doing quite abit but dam i feel bad for anyone above the age of like 40 who uses windows must be hell

Search Bar/Cortana

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
