Windows 10: Windows 10 search of documents is not working properly.

I have a number of files with similar names, all starting with Venetian mask. I created a search with that term Venetian mask, but the search only found 3 out of the 4 files.


So I re-indexed the search and now when I search it only finds 1 out of the 4 files. Even when I put half of the name of the original missing file in the search bar, it does not find it.


Any ideas what to do next.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Restart the Service and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + R.

  Type Services.msc In the search box.

  Select Windows Search.
  
• 
  Restart the services and set the service as Automatic.
  

Step 2: Run the
Search and Indexing troubleshooter.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Search and Indexing
  troubleshooter.

Metro 2033 fails to work on windows 10!

I don't recall you mentioning any trouble shooting steps attempted though. At the very least, doing a quick search and checking threads like this very well may have solved it for you. It's listed as compatible on MS' list of games that work with W10 for a reason, because many if not most are able to get it running on W10. At least some level of workaround may be required, but some got it running without doing anything.

We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Device troubleshooter using the steps below:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

We also suggest that you update the keyboard driver and check if it work.
