    Windows 10 Security Question

A friend sent me this, I have a hard time believing MS would do such a thing.
    Is it true ??

..."Krebs on Security has posted a new item.

Starting today, Microsoft is offering most Windows 7 and Windows 8 users a free
upgrade to the software giant's latest operating system -- Windows 10. But
there's a very important security caveat that users should know about before
transitioning to the new OS: Unless you opt out, Windows 10 will by default
share your Wi-Fi network password with any contacts you may have listed in
Outlook and Skype -- and, with an opt-in, your Facebook friends!"...

    Thanks,

    rs

    :)

  3. Windows Security Questions

I was recently logging onto my wife's laptop with my account as we have a instance of Office 365 on it. Windows asked me to answer three security questions. While I don't remember setting them up, they did seem like questions I'd set up and I did know
the answers. However, Windows did not accept them. I was able to log on later when it didn't ask me the questions. Odd.

I'd like to remove or redo the questions. I did find a MS discussion where someone thought only MS could reset them but I just spent 15 minutes with their help chat with no luck. The technician couldn't figure out how to reset the questions.

Does anyone have experience with this?

    Thanks

It's accurate information. If you don't disable it Microsoft takes your WiFi password and stores it on their servers and will share it to your contacts.

Any info on how I disable it ? I don't think MS will be very clear about it.

    Thanks
