Windows 10: Windows 10 security question

Discus and support Windows 10 security question in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have a spare laptop with Windows 10 home on it.     Windows 10 security question


    I have a spare laptop with Windows 10 home on it. This laptop does not support bit locker or device encryption.

    I am going to let someone borrow it while they are in the hospital. I will create a new user account for them.

    I do not have any important files stored on the laptop, but I do use my Microsoft account for login and my Microsoft account does have many important things tied to it.

    If my friend turns out to be a hacker or someone steals the laptop, could they access my Microsoft account? I do have a strong password, but the pin is weaker. Would I be better off removing the Microsoft account and just making a local account for my use? That way nothing on the laptop is important to me.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.
