    Hello I have a 3d Printer here I cannot get it to connect via the USB port. when I plug it in nothing happens what so ever it will not recognise that a usb cable has been put into the machine.


    The 3d printer is an Anet A8 it is running a Raspberry Pi 3 board I believe. on the website it says it supports windows 10.


    the connection from the machine is via a standard printer usb cable, my old 3d printer connected fine with windows 10. I have downloaded the new icore software to put onto a micro SD card but once inserted into the machine there is no files on the SD card that the motherboard is able to read. Is there any driver packs for older USB products or does windows 10 contain all previous versions of USB drivers plus upto date ones?


    This machine is cheap and a bit crappy and made from China. So not sure what version of windows they have used to test these machines on.

    I would think it need to connect as a COM/LPT port but no matter what settings im using and what port numbers and baud rates nothing is working. can someone please point me in the right direction.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
