Windows 10: Windows 10 settings

Though I'm able to open settings in windows 10, I'm unable to open any of the apps in it. There is no response when I click on all of them. I can't even type in the search box. I just bought this computer about a month ago. Worked fine till I came back from vacation, turned it on and windows started installing updates. I noticed when all the updates were installed that something wasn't right. I can't even remember what it was now. But I went to settings to find out about what was going on, that's when I noticed the problem with "Setting". It's been like this for 3 weeks maybe more. I've research this problem and found out it's happened to a lot people. My problem is that I'm not a computer geek and it's all Greek to me. I'm about to throw this PC out the friggin window (no pun intended) and by an Apple computer.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
