Windows 10: Windows 10 Setup closes without error

Hello. I want to upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7. The thing is that I want to keep all my files and programs too safe, that means, no Formatting. My friend had also windows 7 and he performed the update without any problem, however I am experiencing errors every time I want to update. When I select "Update this PC", it starts Downloading and vertifies the file. As soon as windows setup starts checking programs after Selecting keeping files and programs, it says wait and soon after the application closes. Then, the application would tell me to restart the computer sa the setup contained errors.


i even selected the option for USB, installed windows on the USB, and ran from it. This time it would ask me for my activation key and after that, windows would again say checking files or programs and crash again.


I really want to upgrade and not to wipe all.


I have tried so far:

- clean boot

- diferent user

- usb stick

- safe mode

- offline install
