Windows 10: Windows 10 Shortcuts Windows + Space Any way to disable specific Shortcuts or Features?

I'm not really going to flesh out why or for how long this has bothered me, but I want to start out by saying that I at this moment can't find any solution to disabling theWindows + Space shortcut.

I'm specifically talking about this little creep.



There's no way to remove this in Language Preferences. At least not an obvious way

When clicking it I have two options to switch between, even though you can see below I clearly only have ONEkeyboard set up.




And then there's this guy, oh how I hate this little space-eater.



Everytime I press the Windows Button & Space this little fellow shows up on my screen. I can't even begin to describe how infuriating he is. And even more so, how absolutely crazy it is that there is no clear and obvious way to either edit the shortcuts or disable them outright.

I have done quite a bit of digging and I still have not found a solution. Although there was one that seemed like it could help relieve me of my anger and frustration; enabling "Turn off Windows Key hotkeys" in Local Group Policy Editor > User Config > Administrative Templates >Windows Components > File Explorer.
HOWEVER this only removed my ability to open File Explorer with Windows + E, etc. And it still didn't disable Windows & Space - Keyboard Switch.


So now I'm desperately asking for help from anyone in here, if there is a Microsoft representative, please deliver this to the higherups.

Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.

I hate the fact that the control panel classic is missing from windows 10. My work around was simply to type in control panel in the start menu search bar and then pin the resulting control panel shortcut to the start menu quick access panel or taskbar

I think I'm unwilling to change with the times *Smile

Win+X (or right click on Windows icon) isn't really useful anymore. MS removed classic control panel from the list and changed programs and features to Apps and Features. To get to Programs and Features you have to go to Apps and Features first (Metro UI) (it's in the top right corner).

And classic cmd also left the win+x and File list, you have to do it old way (win+r -> cmd -> enter).










Now it's easier to access Power Options directly from the taskbar.
