    Windows 10 - Shutdown when idle despite all power settings off / LiveKernelEvent problem


    Hello Microsoft team: My Windows Surface Pro laptop has updated its software. I am experiencing the below problems:


    I have TWO questions - if you can kindly advise: Laptop shutdowns and restarts in the middle of use or when it is idle.

    Windows 10 Shuts Down When Idle - despite changing Power Settings

    My desktop computer that experienced this idle shutdown problem was fairly old....but still working fine until I updated to Windows 10. There was no way that I could control the idle shutdowns after that upload and I was crazy trying to manage keeping
    my computer ON. I tried all of the suggestions and more ...nothing worked. Eventually, I purchased a new computer and I am sane again. It was a miserable experience.

    Windows 10 shutdown doesn't unmount despite......

    Windows 10 shutdown doesn't unmount my internal hard drive despite setting the power button to shutdown. This means that I cannot access windows partition on my hard drive when I log into Linux.
