    Black screen on windows boot

    Hi

    Just a few questions: this only occurs at start-up? So does Window actually load? and if so is everything then ok? You say your on DVI tried changing?

    Have you any older games that change screen resolution, lets say they run the intro video as lower res are these ok?

    The reason I ask is that I have something very similar black screen for approx. 15 sec at boot display comes on with Windows 10 fully loaded.
    This also happens with older games that change screen res again about 15 sec... If I change Display res manually it's fine, as are modern games.

    Windows 10 blank screen after boot-up....

    Anyone have any luck with this ? Windows appears to boot normally until the screen with the little dots on it. Then it goes black , stays that way for a minute and finally logs on. I`ve already googled this and all the answers boil down to two solutions - disable fast startup and change your graphics driver. Neither rly helped for me tho it did seem to be graphics card related.

    Awaiting more expert suggestions from TPU !

    Windows Vista Startup Problem ( Dual Boot)

    I've got a dual boot set up on my computer, with Windows XP Professional 32bit & Vista Ultimate 64bit.

    I haven't booted into Vista for quite some time now because I get better performance from XP. But now, if I try to boot into Vista, it goes through until after the Welcome screen & just gets stuck on a black screen with the pointer showing.

    I have tried repairing the startup using the Vista CD.


    Any suggestions?
