Windows 10: Windows 10 slow performance after installation.

Hi there, so today I've installed a fresh copy of windows 10 21h1 on my laptop, installation was fine but once the setup finished I noticed that launching things like edge or settings was painfully slow to launch or to do anything within them, when I took a look in task manager it seemed like any program I opened that came with windows 10 took up large amounts of my laptops cpu usuage, when this laptop originally had windows 7 a few days ago things were fast and stable. I have installed drivers from the manufacturers website which is HP and even checked for updates and after going through th

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
