  1. Windows 10 slow start up with SSD, WPR provided

    Hi Folks

My windows 10 i5,8gig, 256g ssdcomputer suddenly started to take 3 minutes to start up even on restart. I have ran antivirus, boot process viewer, malware byte but to no avail. Attached is my WPR, any guidance is appreciated (I dont know how to read the WPR even when I opened it, all i see is fancy graphs.

WPR is zipped because its 127mb so i uploaded it on : Uploadfiles.io - WPR Files.rar

I have tried everything at : Very slow boot on Win10 with SSD after creators upadte - Windows 10 Forums

    Thank you

    :)

  3. windows 10 disk usage at 100% after update KB3201845

Same here. My pc went terribly slow after installing this update. Its 24Gb ram and SSD+HDD disk.

After running the WPR -cancel command it took some seconds the disk usage went back to normal.

I've also tried to uninstall this update without any luck

  5. Edit: Tried this by Adalwar:

There is a difference between a Cold Boot (start by pressing Power Button) and reboot time in Windows.
My Lenovo z710 (no SDD) takes 18s to Boot (cold boot). A Reboot takes between 42s and over 1 Min, sometimes 1min 20s, this is random, seems it takes longer after installing a new Program may be Windows Defender is "working on it".
Before the update (105) it was always under 1min , mostly 52s.
In order to achieve the short Cold Boot time you must have Superfetch enabled and Fast Start-Up enabled, otherwise it will take the same time as a reboot.
By reboot Windows is loading everything new. By Cold Boot Windows is loading from a special file it has been created while shutdown.

You may want to try following:
Delete all XML files located in Windows>Performance>WinSAT>DataStore
Next, open an Elevated Command Prompt and type this:
    Winsat formal -clean

Before running WinSAT you may want also to run the LODCTR /R command.

Comp is 8 sec starting now *Smile
