  1. Windows 10 Sound popping in and out

tons of people complain about this i know, i have read the posts before posting this and i will also post my results

    My PC specs

    - 16 GB ram (11.9 GB usable)

    - 1 TB HDD + 2 500GB slave drives (for all my video games)

    - AMD FX(tm)-6350 Six Core Processor 3.90 GHz
    - Windows 10 VERSION: 10.0.17763 build 17763, 64 bit OS x64 based processor

    - AMD high definition Audio device

    - Nvidia Virtual Auido (wave extensble) (wdm)

    PROBLEM

When the Computer turns on, sound is fine no cuts no clips no blips, starting Discord app Nothing happens can join voice chat without any issues, BUT once i start (IE BROWSER, MICORSOFT EDGE or any browser type and go to youtube or any sound page) the pop happens and i cant hear any sound and when in discord no one can hear my mic until the pop and sound returns it happens frequently and when booting steam games or downloading anything it also happens frequently

    THINGS I HAVE TRIED

    -uninstall ALL audio drivers

    -Restart PC

    -uninstall/install Windows 10 updates

    -Use Audio Troubleshooter

-change sound device (DIFFERNT HEADSETS GETTING A SOUND BULLET FOR SPEAKERS)

-check tons and tons of online complaints and follow guides so if i have missed something in this odds are i tried it but forgot about it because it didnt work, HOWEVER post it any way i will try it as many times as i can

THINGS I AM ABOUT TO TRY

-DELETE SOUND DRIVER AND GET A NEW ONE (changing from AMD HD audio to REGULAR HD audio driver given by windows 10

    - REINSTALL WINDOWS 10

    - if all else fails go back to windows 8

thank you to anyone who helps and anyone who reads this and anyone who solves my issues

-will report back after attempted more fixes to update problems

    :)

  2. Crackling/Popping sound Windows 10

    Hello,

I request you to try the methods below:

    Method 1:

    Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio.

    Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
    • Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.

    Method 2:

Sound problems can be caused by cables that aren't connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates, and problems with your sound card.

I request you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the Sound card Drivers

    • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
    • Search for the Sound driver from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then
remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.
    • After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website.

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Sound Card manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the Sound Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

I also request you to follow the below article:

    Thank you.

Windows 10 popping sound in speakers

    Hi,

I have the exact same issue and I went through all the steps suggested above but none of them helped. I get the popping sound when any kind of audio is on. Even when external speakers or headphones are plugged in.

Do you have any other suggestions what to do?

    Thanks

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
