Windows 10: windows 10 Spotlight option missing in my pc having windows education not linked with any...

I am using windows 10 Education. I am not able to use lock-screen spotlight feature. On the lock screens settings page this message is present there"*some features are hidden or managed by your organization" I have no organization managing my computer


Here are the only two options for lock-screen pictures.





"Also the get fun facts . . ." cortana feature is grayed out.


Please help!

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Spotlight option is missing from the drop down list

Yes, for at least one case in the FCU (updates policies) there's an accompanying link to see the details, it may apply to all such cases.









Edit: but not in all cases, it seems. The particular policy to disable Spotlight is only available in Enterprise and Education, so I can't test that one. I can test another policy that also affects Personalization settings - stopping users from choosing desktop wallpaper. There's no explanation for that 'some setting are managed...' message.

 

Windows Spotlight option not appearing in Windows 10 EDU.

The PC which shows Windows Spotlight option having Win10 education 64 bit, version 1511 (Build 10586.71). The PC which does not show Windows Spotlight option has Windows 10 education 64 bit. version 10.0 (Build 10240).
