Windows 10: Windows 10 SSD AUTO Trim?

Discus and support Windows 10 SSD AUTO Trim? in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Windows' SSD Auto-Trim Setting is set to Once a Week.     Windows 10 SSD AUTO Trim?


    Windows' SSD Auto-Trim Setting is set to Once a Week. It's been 21 days and the SSDs still haven't been trimmed. It has done it to HDDs but not to SSDs for 21 days. The setting is set to Once a week. Doesn't he normally have to do this anyway? Does he do it when necessary?I guess no one has an opinion on the subject.

    Run the SSD toolkit for your model SSD from it's Support Downloads webpage, which will check Trim and also run Diagnostics that may fix this.

    Windows 10 SSD AUTO Trim?

    SSD TRIM on windows 7

    A while ago we replaced the HDD with an SSD in my dads laptop.
    I found out now that auto defragmenting was still on, we turned it off.

    My dad just installed the Sandisk SSD software and it seems there isn't a manual TRIM function in it.
    There was however an option to enable TRIM on windows 7, this option is checked now.

    How do I know when it runs and can I schedule this?
    If so, how?
