Windows 10: Windows 10 Start Button and task bar frozen

Good day All. We seem to be having a few issues with the computers in our organization where the taskbar and start button just stops working. This is often followed by Outlook not connecting and Teams presenting multiple issues. The following troubleshooting steps have been taken:SFC /Scannow from CMDRunning Windows Updates Signing out of the user profile, restarting, and then signing back into the profile. Running DISM check and restore healthUsing the start menu built-in troubleshooter Powershell script to re-register Microsoft Apps. So far the above-recommended steps have yielded no result

Frozen task bar and start button after November Windows 10 update

Windows 10 November update did its thing on my PC yesterday. Today the CPU worked overtime on startup. When it had finished, the task bar and start button had frozen. I can't get to the start menu. Task manager won't open. I have no error messages. After
half an hour, icons returned to the task bar, but clicking on them is pointless -- they are all frozen. For a while, I could right click on the start button and get to control panel, MS explorer and search, though search would not work. Now, even those facilities
have gone. Anyone got a fix?

Windows 10 Defender - How to make it default to task bar?

Using Windows 10 and currently I am using Defender for anti virus. For whatever reason Windows Defender does not show up in the task bar unless I search for the program or right click and scan a file/folder. Is there a way to force Defender to show up in the task bar at start up?

 

my task bar is frozen.

Since the windows 10 latest upgrade in 2017 my task bar is frozen. I have tried all of the suggestions from the 2015 posts. None of them worked.
