Windows 10: Windows 10 Start Menu Issues - PC Nearly Completely Unaccessible

So this one is a bit of a complex issue. The machine in question is an Alienware 17in laptop which is about 5+ years old, and I have next to zero access to any of the standard windows utility tools.The desktop has recently gone blank and hovering over the start menu results in a not responding loading circle. I cannot access any Windows settings. I cannot get taskmanager to load ctrl + shift + esc does not work. The only shell I have access to from the regular windows login is Git Bash. However, I have not had any success trying to run things as admin through that and the shell does not have

yeah I've been less than happy with the start menu also.
for me I for me I get freezes in start menu, especialy returning from sleep...which reminds me sleep is such a pain in the butt since I switch to Windows 10. Either waking up on its own, or system freezes when recovering from sleep

Stardock was a nice switch from vanilla, but i wasnt gonna buy it and 30 days goes by quick.
