Windows 10: Windows 10 start menu problem

I don't know what happened, but I was messing around with my windows 10 pc and something happened and now the start menu won't open and the updates don't work. I tried sfc /scannow but the message "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service." keeps popping up even though Windows Module Installer is running. I tried a lot of things for about 5 hours and finally I tried factory resetting the pc but it wouldn't even let me factory reset the thing and it ended say "no changes were made" after the factory reset has been running for 30 minutes. I don't really care that much for t

yeah I've been less than happy with the start menu also.
for me I for me I get freezes in start menu, especialy returning from sleep...which reminds me sleep is such a pain in the butt since I switch to Windows 10. Either waking up on its own, or system freezes when recovering from sleep

Stardock was a nice switch from vanilla, but i wasnt gonna buy it and 30 days goes by quick.
