Windows 10: windows 10 start menu search borked yet again

Discus and support windows 10 start menu search borked yet again in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; This is the 3rd time I've dealt with this on 3 different computers.     windows 10 start menu search borked yet again


    This is the 3rd time I've dealt with this on 3 different computers.


    The most recent software that I installed is not being shown when I type it's name in the start menu. Why are these results part of indexing. DO I really need to rebuild the index just to have the start menu searchable?


    I removed everything from indexing options except the start menu, rebuilt the index; still a failure.
