Windows 10: Windows 10 started having performance issue: randomly occurring latency at basic tasks...

The PC: HP Envy 15 LatopIntelR CoreTM i7-4702MQ CPU @ 2.20GHz bought around year 2015upgraded ~2 years ago to SSD HDD & 16 GB RAMWindows 10 PRO 21H2 installed at that moment, automatic updates ON.In the last ~1 week, the OS started moving with latency. It usually works normal, except when it shows latency at very basic tasks likereacting to a mouse click I middle-click a link, it can take ~2 seconds until that link is opened in a new browser tabreacting to keyboard events even while I wrote this post, it happened several times that the cursor simply freezes for ~2 seconds, I don't

Task Switcher randomly gets stuck cycling windows


Good morning!

I am having an issue with the Task Switcher (see image below) activating on its own. It then begins to cycle through the open tasks very rapidly. When this happens I am unable to actually select any of the tasks, nor can I close them out. Windows is essentially frozen at this point and I have to restart.

A few things to note:

• I am running Windows 10 Pro.
• This happens randomly, sometimes weeks between an incident.
• Sometimes it happens while I am not even working at the computer. I've noticed it after returning to my desk.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you to place the computer in Clean boot state and check if the issue persists.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 8.1, Windows 8,
Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

Latency issue caused by dxgkrnl.sys and ndis.sys in Windows 10

Just commenting to say I have the same problem with the network driver (ndis.sys). It gets worse over time for me, for some reason. On boot up the latency is in the green but slowly increases as times goes on. I have my Ethernet device disabled atm, seeing
how that goes. And I have a Belkin N USB network adaptor, can't find any older drivers for my model to try though.

This issue randomly started a few weeks ago, what could have caused it? An update through Windows Update?

Edit: I have seemed to have solved my issue! I had CyberGhost installed and I ended the process via Task Manager and the latency has stayed in the green! So I suggest looking through your processes and think about which might be using/manipulating your connection
as CyberGhost would have been doing for mine.
