Windows 10: windows 10 startup

My wife is running windows 10 Pro and had a problem with her printer so we went to restore from a previous restore point. The restore executed and finished without any problems, but we couldn't boot up. We've tried everything, but it always ends up with message "unaccessable OS repair can't continue. We've tried media creation tool/repair the computer, & tried the bootrec fix, but that didn't work either. I think we have to take it to a Microsoft store & have them look at it. I don't want to reinstall, because she has too much infor at stake to lose, we just want to restore. What a pr

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
