    Windows 10 Stop Code 154


    HiMy computer crashed this afternoon with Stop Code 154. I followed the instuctions as folllows:1. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostics in Standard Mode for two cycles - nothing found2. Checked Device Manager for ! marks - none found3. Ran sfc /scannow - no problems foundI then re-ran Windows Memory Diagnostics, but this time in Extended Mode, with standard defaults.It obviously ran much slower, but it has now been stuck on 21% of the first pass for well over an hour.Is this normal there are 8GB of memory, or does this suggest something wrong with the memory or the Cache which is turned off for

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
