    Windows 10 Stops Recognizing iPhone in Middle of Transfer


    I was transferring videos from my iPhone to my Windows 10 PC desktop. It recognized the phone and got about half way through copying the videos over when I got an error that the device was not connected I don't recall the exact wording. The phone no longer showed up under "This PC." I am using an Apple cable and it is charging the phone. However, the phone is still not being recognized even when I unplug and replug it in, including trying other USB ports. All the stuff I find online pertains to the PC not recognizing the phone at all, not recognizing it and then stopping for no good reason!

    My friend has an iPhone and wishes to transfer her media files to her Windows 10 laptop.What options does she have to complete this please? Simple step by step instructions would be great,thanks.
    Suffice to say I am not an Apple user or supporter. She "inherited" the iPhone from a family member.
