Windows 10: Windows 10 Storage Spaces out of space with 2TB free space

I'm using 5 3TB drives to set up a Storage Space pool with parity, as each disk contributes 2.72TB to the pool, I have a total of 9.07TB 2.72x4. However, even though the disk "Properties" shows I still have 1.92TB of free space, Storage Spaces manager reports every disk is now at full capacity, and I can't copy larger files to the pool anymore. I'm cheated out of almost 2TB! Someone please help me. Thanks.

Windows Storage Spaces

I have a 7.5GB storage space and have been unable to bring the drive online for the last 10 days. In the storage pool I have a 2TB drive that indicates all information is retired and to remove the drive but of course I first added a 3TB drive to the pool.
I am still unable to remove the drive from the pool.

I figure there must be some enhanced powershell commands that can find me a resolution. The % of space being used on the 2TB drive indicates it is at 0.06%. Don't know why it won't let me remove it.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

 

Cannot access Storage Space

I've created a problem with Storage Spaces by changing the drive letter in Windows 10. This has caused a Storage Spaces error, and I can no longer see the Storage space in File Explorer.

Disk Management shows the drive as unallocated.

I now have the following situation. The 2 drives in the storage space are the ones shown as 931.5GB (or Disk 4 in the Management image). (it was originally set up as 10Tb but only 2 x 2tb physical disks initially)










Any suggestions as to whether I can correct this. Thanks

Storage Space

Surface Pro 3 storage space is low. Storage settings say that Apps and Games is using 17.5 GB but when I add up the space from the list of apps it is only 5.7 GB. What is taking up up the other ~12 GB and how do I free up space?
