    I am using Windows 10 Laptop with Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720 . Currently want to upgrade My Latop to New Windows 10, Version 2004. But currently if look at This PC you will notice that Recovery D Drive is getting full. Then how will i be able to upgrade to New Windows 10, Version 2004.

    Please help & give me tips as if what should i do in that case.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.


    • Did you make any changes in BIOS?

    • Are you getting any error message?
    I suggest you to update Storage controller drivers and check if it helps.

    Steps 1:


    • Press Windows key + X.

    • Select Device manager.

    • Expand Storage controller.

    • Right click on the driver and Update the drivers.


    Steps 2: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue
    is with device. Refer these steps:


    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

    • Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
