Windows 10: Windows 10 store app missing in action

was having issues with my Microsoft store app and ran through the trouble shooting steps listed on several forms and support pages. The reset command in the command shell, the repair option in apps and features, using that long line of code in the command console. None of it worked, and I ended up just downloading the xbox app, downloading Sea of thieves, and that was it. At some point shortly after no hardware or software changes other than those listed my microsoft app just stops appearing entirely. Any app connected to it just gives me a blue screen, i cant find it anywhere, i'm constantly getting error messages about how it doesnt have a program to run x command, and the xbox app doesnt launch either. Is there a way to reinstall the microsoft store app without reinstalling my entire windows? I cant even run my repair disk anymore because its suddenly giving me a "no license key" error and i've tried to build the install/ repair disk multiple times.

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
