Windows 10: Windows 10 Store crashes

*ThumbsI have had the problem of not being able to get into Windows Store for a couple of weeks now.
Where the problem came from, i just don't know.
Having tried practically all of the solutions offered within the various forums, unfortunately, i was no better off.

I then tried experimenting on my own, as we no doubt all do at times, eventually, it worked. Therefore, please allow me to tell you what solved the problem for me.

Click on the settings button located either via the start button on the bottom left of your PC, alternatively, the settings button on the bottom right side (toolbar).
Having entered settings just do the following:-
click on; System/apps and features/scroll down to Store/advanced options/Reset. It worked first time for me.

If you are running Windows 10 tonight and have noticed the Store immediately closes when you try to open it, you are not alone. Through both our email tips and a quick search on Twitter reveal that this is a widespread issue.

 

The other fix is
Click "Run"
c)Type: "WSReset.exe" and hit enter

The problem is there is a new store app if you update it it works ok problem being you have to get onto store to get it so as soon as you get on store search for updates and select the store first before it download loads of other updates

 

where is the update button?

 

Right click on your avatar icon on the upper right title bar of the Store app and you'll get a menu like this:



Click on "Downloads and updates," and you should be off to the races.

As a matter of interest, the drop down page for this character looks nothing like the one you have shown?
