Windows 10: windows 10 store games are crashing on launch

Every time I try and play a game that I downloaded from the windows store it opens the image of the game surrounded by a black border and then it just goes black and then closes in like the span of 3 seconds please help!

Windows Store games crashing on launch

I purchased Forza Horizon 3 off the Windows Store. It ran fine for months, but about a month ago it started crashing on launch. I will see the first splash screen, and then the game crashes to desktop before even getting to the Playground Games video. It
does this every single time.

I have tried repairing the game, repairing the Windows Store, and uninstalling and re-installing the game to no avail. The only fix I have found is to first download and install another App from the Windows Store. Unfortunately, I have to do this every single
day.

If I do not do this before launching the game, the game will crash to desktop on launch and reset my graphics settings, requiring that I correct my graphics settings and sit through the Optimization process once I do get it running again.

This has made playing the game a huge pain, and makes me reticent to ever buy anything off the Windows Store again.

Windows 10 Store games not launching

A couple of days ago I bought a game from the Windows Store. I had played the demo and it worked perfectly fine. When I try launching the full game, a window opens and has a picture of the game, it stays there for about a minute, then crashes. I can not
refund this game, so all suggestions would be appreciated. I don't seem to have this problem when launching free games or apps. My PC meets all of the minimum requirements for the game and most of the recommended spec requirements. I don't want to get into
really technical fixes like repairing or upgrading Windows 10, or even re-installing Windows 10.
