Windows 10: Windows 10 store shutsdown after clicking on any app

Hello all,

I have been having this issue(described in the thread title) since last week. Everytime I open the windows store and click on any app displayed in the first page or if I search it and then click on an app The windows store simply shutdown...

I have tried so many different things that I don't even know what else to try. I have already run sfc /scannow ..Dism restore health commands.. reinstalling all windows store apps through powershell and a few more things...

what should I do next? I don't want to reinstall windows 10 again.. and by the way, I created a new account and it still doesn't work..

Phone shutsdown when i unlock my mobile LUMIA 950XL.

My mobile shutsdown very often when i unlock it. Also when i use some system apps like Settings, store etc., Even today when i got a WhatsApp call today immediately mobile got restarted.

It happens like this...

Shutsdown -> Getting too hot --> then i have to start by holding power button for more than 15 secs

I don't know why mobile gets that hot after shutting down (within 3 secs mobile becomes too hot)...And then i have to struggle by holding the power key for atleast 10 secs to switch it on back.

Any known bug in mobile? Or is there any known issue raised before by someone ?.

I did exactly as told but nothing happened.

However I noticed that with time I am able to download a few apps, but with most of the apps the same problem remains :/

Welcome to the 10forums.

Since the problem you're experiencing is not a bluescreen I suggest you create a new thread at the Windows Updates and Activation forum.
The BSOD forum is specific for the people who are having bluescreens.

 

Sometimes, clearing the Windows Store cache can fix this. Open an elevated command prompt and enter

 

Thanks guys and I am sorry for the delayed response...I have already fixed it a little while ago.. the issue had to do with date and time settings, which my eyes amazingly couldn't catch the issue even being aware of it.. anyways, its fixed now and thanks for posting on my thread.
