Windows 10: windows 10 stuck at v.1607 build 14393.2214. can't update

hi!i have a:Lenovo PC ThinkCentre M700 Signature EditionCPU: Intel i7-6700 @ 3.40Ghz8,00 Gb Installed RAMWindows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1607 OS Build 14393.221448.7Gb free hdd space on partition CI try to update it, but keep failling.windows update is trying to download v.20H2, but fails with error: 0x8024200D most of the time or 0x8024001E few timesI downloaded from windows catalog WIN 10 1709 FOR 64bit kb4058702-x64, but when I try to run the .msu file I receive the error:Windows Update Standalone Istaller> The update is not applicable to your computer,and in Event Viewer on Window

Windows 10 update from Version 1607 build 14393 to 16299 with unhandled exception

Hi,

I (the windows system) try to update Windows 10 from Version 1607 build 14393 to 16299 and get during boot and 75% setup an unhandled thread exception. Due this the setup break. I can't find the details and reason of the unhandled thread exception. This
setup trial and error repeats every day with no success. How can I handle this problem?

I have 3 machines with windows 10 installed on them, they all started with build 10586. I have a USB stick with that gets heavy use with updates.

2 of the machines got a feature update to build 14393 but one did not

that machine is sandy bridge using an i3-2100 on an H61 based motherboard. inlet has suggested I buy a new rig as this one is not suited to windows 10 but I can get windows 10 running on even older machines without problem

being cynical, i suspect Intel only wants me to buy a new CPU and motherboard, dream on

so can somebody explain why on a machine that 14393 is not being delivered? I can always use the USB stick.

 

Windows 10 Pro VL V.1607 Build 14393.447 not fitting in a DVD

I have tried many many things. I do get Windows 10 Pro x64 VL V.1607 Build 14393.447 but they are more than usual DVD storage space. So can't fit in DVD

I then tried to get a little older version Windows 10 Pro x64 VL V.1607 Build 14393.351 updated Oct 2016 and tried to integrate November 8, 2016—KB3200970 (OS Build 14393.447) with NTlite, DISM and other methods. It does the job and test installation is at required build Build 14393.447 but again same problem. the resulting ISO file size increases more than a DVD.

actually most win 10 build now use Install.ESD instead of Install.WIM. so whatever method I chose to slipstream Nov update to it, it first needs to convert ESD to WIM. Then only Install.wim can be serviced i-e integrated with updates. I played a lot with conversions.

All what I need is an ISO that can fit in a DVD but when I install win 10 from this ISO/DVD, it gives me straight at the level of Windows 10 Pro x64 VL V.1607 Build 14393.447 so I do not have to apply nov 2016 update after OS installs.

many ready ISO are showing up on internet but they are out of DVD size and mostly with install.ESD so I can't play/configure it later with my options.

please give me some idea how to get an ISO/DVD sized installation media with my required build. I can Volume license it after install

please suggest
