    This happened 10 minutes ago whilst I was watching a youtube video all of a sudden the screen went into greyscale mode . I searched online as to what had happened and read that turning off colour filters fixed this however nothing happened except for the shades becoming somewhat darker. As the title states I currently have no idea what to do and was hoping reddit had any idea as to what is going on.

    Colour Filters Won't Turn Off

    Hi,

    So my account is stuck in greyscale at the moment. I've tried Windows + Ctrl + C and also manually turning the colour filters off in settings, but I'm still stuck in grey.

    I wasn't trying to turn colour filters on in the first place - I was just trying to use the short cut for the degrees symbol which is apparently Alt + 0176. Alas that didn't work either, so there isn't a silver lining here. What could I
    possibly have pressed to turn this seemingly permanent colour filter on, and how do I turn it off again?

    Help?

    My displays changed to Grayscale.

      • I am referring the image colour on my PC monitor. Every Icon on my Desktop is now in grayscale, and not colour. See image below.

      • All. Everything displays in grayscale
    • What was the previous color display you are referring to?
      • Previously, all Icons displayed in colour
