Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck in recovery mode w/ forgotten passowrd

pretty much what the title says. my mothers windows 10 dell laptop is stuck in recovery mode and has been doing so since her last scheduled update a couple weeks ago. it's easy enough to navigate to through the options presented in recovery mode, however, every single option requires her password to execute. i can't access the command prompt w/out a password. i can't utilize the repair option w/out the password. etc... every.single.option requires the forgotten password. i also can't boot in safe mode nor can i reach the bios due to computer booting directly into recovery. i've taken

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

 

Unable to boot the PC, stuck in recovery mode screen​

I understand that you are unable to boot the PC normally as it is stuck in recovery mode.

1. Were there any recent updates installed on the PC?
   
2. What is the exact make and model of the PC?
   

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Boot the PC into safe mode with networking and check if you are able to login. Refer the article to

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10, refer the section
From a black or blank screen.



Method 2:



Perform a system restore to revert the PC back to the state when everything was working fine. Refer the article

Recovery options in Windows 10, refer the section
Use installation media to restore or reset your PC.



Note:
Do not reset the PC; resetting the PC will remove all the data and installed programs from the PC.

For thouse who CAN help...:I can't enter adb (device not recognized), can't flash using stock recovery (don't really know the steps and stuck at triage and dead android when in recovery),
