Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck on infinite loading screen, tried doing Preparing automatic Repair screen...

Hello,

I suddenly have a problem. I turned on my MSI GE72 Apache pro. After booting i turned started opening some applications. Suddenly my applications did not respond and the whole screen froze. So I turned off my laptop and turned it back on to see if it fixed it.

When I turned it on, the screen is just stuck on the logo page with the spinning icon rotating. I tried multiple trouble shooting process.


I tried doing windows recovery environment. But after passing the logo screen preparing automatic repair. A cmd window will pop out and disappear instantly and the screen will be just black. But when i move the mouse the pointer appears.

Another process i tried using the Windows 10 installer and use the fix PC feature. Once entering the CD and changing the boot set up. When starting the laptop will prompt me with the "press any button to both the from the DVD drive". After pressing anything space / enter. The MSI logo will appear then after a few seconds the screen will just turn into black.

I hope there is a solution to this. I have this laptop for more than 4 years. :

Preparing automatic repair black screen afterwards stuck

Fixing this gaming PC for a friend. His computer gets stuck on the windows logo with the dotted spinning circle. In the past to fix this i've done a startup repair. But this time, the PC starts the Preparing Automatic Repair, then screen goes black, where normally it should be showing diagnosing your pc before loaded the Automatic Repair screen.

What should I attempt to try next?

I Have Dell G3 laptop "Preparing Automatic Repair" - black screen. I don't see the Windows loading. I just have a black screen with logo DELL in the centre. Nothing is moving, nothing else appears, until the
"Preparing Automatic Repair" appears at the bottom.

I've tried doing the hard restarts many times, but the laptop will never boot into the Recovery Environment.

I tried hard restarts but it keeps repeating this cycle over and over again - "Preparing Automatic Repair" - black screen "STUCK" . I even left my laptop on the black screen for a couple of hours, hoping it might fix
itself but it does nothing.



How can I get out of this problem that Windows has forced my laptop into?

Try entering Safe Mode to repair

Press the power button to turn on your PC, then hold the power button down until PC shuts down automatically (about 5 seconds). Repeat this more than 2 times until you see the Preparing Automatic Repair (see below screenshot).

Note: This step is aim to bring up Preparing Automatic Repair screen. When Windows doesn’t boot properly, this screen pops up and Windows attempts to fix the problem by itself. If you’ve seen this screen for the first time when you power up the computer, skip
this step.

.- Then wait for Windows to diagnose your PC.

.- Click Advanced options, then the system will bring up the Windows RE (Recovery environment.) screen.

.- On the Windows RE (Recovery environment) screen, click Troubleshoot.

.- On the Troubleshoot screen, click Advanced options.

.- Click Startup Settings to continue.

.- Click Restart. The computer restarts and another screen opens showing a list of different startup options.

.- On your keyboard, press the 4 number key to enter Safe Mode without network. (If you need to do some online research after boot into the safe mode, press the 5 number key to enter Safe Mode with network access.)
