Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck on login, cannot enter username

After a windows update in March, I got this problem where keyboard entry or mouse click will not bring up the username box. It kept flickering back to the background screen. Windows loaded quickly so it must have been starting from hibernation. After some research, I found the trick to shut down down twice to do a clean boot. I was planning to turn off fast startup and disable automatic updates. I wish I had done it immediately. A week later, I came back from vacation to find my desktop with the same problem. Now, even the clean boot trick doesn't work. I found out how to take ownership of the

Hi,

To remove your login screen on Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

• On the search box, type netplwiz and press Enter.
• A new window labeled as User Accounts will appear, listing all user accounts. Click on your user account and uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
• Enter your account password and click OK.
• Reboot your PC and check if your new settings has been saved.

Stuck on Login Screen for Windows 10

I suggest you to login to Safe Mode from the link provided below and enable the in-built Administrator account by following the steps below:

To start system in safe mode:

Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode)

(Applies to Windows 10)

To enable in-built Administrator account:

• Press “Windows key + R”, type “cmd” and press Enter.
• Type “net user administrator /active:yes”.

Once the account is enabled, login to the Administrator account and make the changes/delete (for) the Microsoft Account. After the changes are done, try to login with the Microsoft Account. After the issue is solved, need to disable the in-built Administrator
Account by typing the below command in elevated command prompt.

“net user administrator /active:no” and press Enter.

To open elevated command prompt:

• Right Click on Start and select “Command Prompt (Admin)”.

Windows 10 Stuck at login screen

As said in the title, my windows 10 is stuck at the login screen

Couldn't Hold shift and Restart because for some reason i don't have the shutdown button

It's nearly impossible to interact with the login screen, mouse moves but things don't get highlighted and no matter what you write it hever shows up.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
