Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck on the restarting screen

Hello, I've had a restarting issue for quite some time now. When I go to restart the machine it gets stuck on the restarting screen for about an hour or so. I'm currently on version 1909 and it's been like this for a few major updates. I've looked at the event viewer for the shutdown/restart logs but don't see anything concerning. I *can* force restart it by holding the power button or pressing the reset button but sometimes it would cause problems for programs I installed that require a reboot. Is there a way thoroughly log the restart function so I can determine the problem is?

I also have the setting enabled that shows me what is going on during the restart, through the restart screen but after I see it's shutting down services it just shows restarting with nothing useful.

If I use the shutdown function it works within seconds. When I boot the machine it also boots within seconds. The problem with when I restart.

Windows 10 stuck at black screen


hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works

 

Windows 10 Stuck at login screen

As said in the title, my windows 10 is stuck at the login screen

Couldn't Hold shift and Restart because for some reason i don't have the shutdown button

It's nearly impossible to interact with the login screen, mouse moves but things don't get highlighted and no matter what you write it hever shows up.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
