Windows 10: Windows 10 Stuck on Update 1903, Only See Black Screen...

I'm hoping that someone can help. My laptop has twice now become stuck trying to install the Windows Update 1903. Both times it'll boot up past the logo screen of the manufacturer, Acer, and then it'll go to a black screen with the five dots going in a circle and sit there spinning for hours on end. I was able to get it into recovery mode with the F12 key the first time that this happened and rolled it back to a previous restore point. But then it started downloading the 1903 update again. I gave it a week or so in hopes that Microsoft would've gotten this update fix as now Windows 10 downloads and installs updates whether you like it or not in most cases. I let it try to install the 1903 update again and it is once more stuck. I've tried turning it off and back on hitting the F12 key repeatedly to try to get it into recovery mode but now even that isn't working. I'm going to try to make a bootable usb drive with a family members desktop that runs Windows 10 but I'm really at a loss as what to do.

hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works

I got stuck on a black screen with cursor after windows 10 1903 update . I tried to open Task Manager but it is not working , I tried to start up in safe mode but it also freezes after login. Please help.

• Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
  
• When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
  
• Did you get any error code or error message?
