    Windows 10 suddenly stopped showing full screen on the monitor


    My Windows 10 desktop at work suddenly stopped showing full screen, despite there being no changes in hardware or resolution. Resolution still set to maximum recommended for my display and scaling wasn't changed.I've already trying playing with settings and uninstalling the GPU. Nothing seems to work. I'm at a loss.

    Hi Lou,

    There are several possible reasons why your LCD monitor suddenly stopped working. It could be that the graphic driver is outdated or could be the cable used is already damaged.

    For us to isolate this problem, we would like to ask the following information:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?
    • Have you installed any updates?

    In the meantime, please try the following suggestions and see if your laptop will detect the LCD monitor:

    • Update the graphic card driver. Check out Update drivers in Windows 10 for the steps.
    • Use another cable. Try using another VGA cable to connect the LCD monitor to the laptop.
    • Connect the LCD monitor to another computer. To help us isolate the issue, try connecting the LCD monitor to a different computer.

    Laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor

    I am using Samsung series 5 Ultra laptop. installed windows 10 and upgraded to office 2015.

    my laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor (HDMI connection). checked on a few different cables and monitors but nothing happens.

    anyone has any suggestion how to fix this problem?

    Dual monitors suddenly showing same screen

    Hey, so yesterday my dual monitors worked fine, but today suddenly its calibrated to one of them, and showing that screen on the other. It doesn't detect my second monitor at all, and the port seems to be working fine. Its duplicated the same display,
    and I can't figure out how to get it to individually recognize each monitor. Has anyone seen this problem? I have windows 10, a Dell inspiron 3847.
