    Windows 10 suddenly takes 9 minutes to load and don’t recognize the hdd


    Hello,My windows was working perfectly on my desktop this morning, it took 7 seconds to start in total, from powering to being able to browse the internet. Then this morning, out of nowhere it became incredibly slow, i decided to restart the PC and upon restarting, discovered a bunch of problems.The pc would be stuck on the windows logo for around 9 to 10 minutes, then once loaded, it no longer showed the content of my HDD. My windows is installed on an SSD which appears fine. Everything that was installed on the HDD appears as a blank icon, as shown on the image below. Disk E being the HDD w

    Hey there, @Shamonto Hasan Easha!

    I'd try re-plugging the hard drive and checking if the cable is damaged. I'd also suggest to try plugging the drive in another computer and see if it gets recognized properly there. Is it a IDE or SATA drive you're using?
    If the drive is unallocated, this means that the partition has been lost after the power went down.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    I keep the Task Manager up all the time because I like to know what is slowing down my applications. I see the iTunes processes start when I start the app, but I don't see anything unusual.

    I'd never seen "perfmon /rel" before. Cool tool. But I've started iTunes 3 times so far today and it doesn't show any incidents today.

    FYI, I tried removing all USB devices, as well as Box and Dropbox. No joy. Still over 9 minutes to load. I left iCloud and OneDrive running because my stuff won't work without them. I'm mystified.

    BTW, the length of time to load iTunes doubled after loading Windows 11. It took a little over 4.5 minutes to load under Windows 10. This suggests the issue might be with Windows.
